Privacy Policy

This page explains what StorySaver processes when a user searches for a public Instagram account, how limited technical caching may be used for performance, and how support contact information is handled.

What the service does

StorySaver accepts a public Instagram username or supported link, performs technical requests to retrieve publicly visible story or highlight data, and shows the resulting media cards inside the page. The service is built to provide current results quickly without asking users to create an account.

Search requests and technical processing

When you submit a search, the service processes your request in order to fetch current story or highlight information from available upstream sources. That technical processing may include bot-protection checks, temporary request validation, provider failover, and short-lived caching designed to reduce repeated upstream requests and improve response speed.

These technical operations exist to run the service reliably. They are not intended to create a personal browsing profile of the visitor.

Limited caching

To improve reliability and avoid repeated upstream requests, some data may be cached for a short period of time. This can include temporary story results, temporary highlight data, and media proxy responses. These caches are operational in nature and are used for performance and stability, not for building user histories.

Public content only

The service is intended for publicly available Instagram content. StorySaver does not claim ownership of third-party media. All rights to photos, videos, and profile content remain with their original owners.
